18k Rose Gold Tourmaline Crystal & Color-Shift Garnet Pendant
Created nearly a decade ago and kept safely stored since, this one-of-a-kind pendant is being offered for the first time in years.
The design centers around a striking natural raspberry/rubellite Nigerian tourmaline crystal, retaining the incredible natural form and vertical striations of the original crystal. Above it sits an approximately 3ct color-shift garnet cut from unusual rough that had remained stored away for decades before eventually reaching the gem market. This rare material has also been documented by GIA.
Both gemstones are set in my original 18k rose gold design, with flowing sculptural elements wrapping around and framing the natural tourmaline crystal. Select areas have been black rhodium plated to create contrast against the high-polished rose gold and emphasize the details of the design.
Though created years ago, this pendant has never been worn and has remained safely stored since its creation.
