This series explores pre-industrial metalworking methods and the quiet imperfections that defined early adornment.

Each piece begins as a hand-carved form rather than a digital or symmetrical model. Molten metal is then poured in measured amounts, allowing gravity, temperature, and alloy behavior to shape the final surface.

The alloy used — shibuichi, a traditional silver-copper blend — produces a tone that exists between silver and bronze, evoking objects aged by time rather than polish.

These pieces are not meant to appear newly made. They are intentionally irregular, softened, and imperfect — echoing artifacts that feel excavated rather than manufactured.
