In 2018, I was tasked by some fans to make my first spinning pendant. I spent months designing the mechanics in my head and finally decided to stop thinking and start doing. The outcome was my first kinetic (spinning) pendant and I called it Stella Polaris. It started me down a spinning pendant journey five years in the making.
I wanted to do a small run of that original design (with a few small modifications from my knowledge acquired these past few years to help streamline them).
Introducing my 2023 versions of Stella Polaris featuring:
1. Red garnet center surrounded by yellow sapphires, amethyst, topaz and garnets. These are all set in my original sterling silver design.
2. Green tourmaline center surrounded by seafoam blue sapphires, topaz and red garnets. These are all set in my original sterling silver design.
3. Amethyst center surrounded by tangerine sapphires, rhodolite garnets, peridot and amethyst. These are all set in my original sterling silver design.
4. London Topaz center surrounded by peridot, pink sapphires and red garnets. These are all set in my original sterling silver design.
